Mike,
I had to manually copy the 8Bf file into PSCS and PSE filters folders.  I did un-install the 3.0.8 build but the 3.0.10 install seems to place the file in the wrong spot.

3.0.10 does not sound ready for prime time!  I've tried to recreate this on my system and of course it works fine...

You're CS4 and Elements 6, right?

Both PSE 6 and 7 and CS3. PSE7 arrived today...
I have un-installed and re-installed...the only thing that fixes it is a manual copy to the Pluginsfilters folder.
remember I have Vista....
Is is an installer issue rather than program??

It's an installer issue.  The funny thing about it is that, although I added check boxes for PSE7 and CM4, the underlying configuration is the same as before.  So I'm scratching my head on this one for now.

Just installed on a XP system with no issues.....

I'm begining to think Vista hates....

I'm playing with Vista now, so we'll see if Vista hates both of us, LOL.
