When the mask is shown the compare button doesn't do anything. I'm not sure it should, but it seems silly to have it there and suddenly have it not working. It should either work as normal when the mask is shown, or it should be disabled. IMHO of course. :)

That makes sense: have compare show the mask in it's normal, un-curved state.  On the list of things to do, perhaps after release.
