There is at least one crash bug lurking out there that has manifested itself in several ways:
1) a hard crash (of both Curvemeister and Photoshop or Elements) after OK is clicked. Cancel appears not to cause the crash. This bug, and the second one in this list, happen very repeatedly on some systems and not at all on others. This bug may be related to Windows XP.
2) a hard crash after clicking the RGB or CMYK Master Curve button. This is the button that toggles the visibility of the RGB master curve.
3) applying a curve to a layer mask crashes curvemeister, not photoshop.
4) quitting the wizard and clicking on the color mode buttons crashes curvemeister, not photoshop.
If you encounter any of these crashes - or any other crash - please send the crash report, even if it is a repeated bug - sometimes getting more than one report is very helpful.
Crash bugs are among the least entertaining bugs to deal with, and I appreciate your patience until I get this under control.

Just so we know, what information is in the crash report? I have nothing to hide, but that doesn't stop me being paranoid about privacy issues. It's something of a hobby horse of mine... :)

Derek,
the crash report contains a mini-dump of some of the internal state of Curvemeister and Photoshop, containing function addresses and parameters, and an xml file that describes the system version, and the versions of all the loaded Photoshop modules. AFAIK, there is nothing that would compromise security, such as a large dump of memory or disk.
Gloria,
Thanks for the additional informaiton. Gene also sees this - a crash everytime the master curve is toggled. I've changed the description. BTW - this system allows you to edit your messages after the fact.
