I've added several new features to curvemeister 3.8, including a fade slider, and other adjustments that I hope you will find interesting and useful.

If you have not yet purchased Curvemeister, or have Curvemeister 1 or 2, please check out the demo.  I think you will be very intrigued and surprised by the many improvements.

If you already own Curvemeister 3, you are entitled to a free upgrade.  Please go to the downloads page and download either the Elements only version, or the Full (Photoshop and Elements) version.  The Photoshop version of Curvemeister is available as both a 32 and 64 bit download.

After Jan 26, 2012, Curvemeister 3 owners may also use Curvemeister's automatic upgrade feature, which is accessed via the about box, or via the Start menu Curvemeister update command.

All the best, and happy curving,

Mike Russell

Here is a short video from the Beta testers group that shows youwhat you can do with the new sliders.

I wonder ...  can Mike add a way to change the blend mode from within CM?  It is probably impossible, but it could be helpful.

We discussed such things as a part of this but that would be a huge process.
Mike was not even sure PS would allow that level of interaction.
The blending modes appear to be a separate process within Photoshop.

I figured it would be impossible or easy.  Impossible won.

Hi

I have just bought ps6 and successfully installed it and the newest curvemeister.
I have been having huge problems with curvemeister and ps3 but all now seems to be resolved.
except
I tried the new blur and fade sliders but could not get them to save to PS
It just seemed to save the overexposure I had chosen but not the fade/blur
Any hints on what I may be doing wrong

This is odd...
When you click apply you fade and blur are not being applied??

Can you get a blurred mask out using the copy Icon?

The mask can be used to change the effect that the curves have on the image.  After you click OK, Photoshop will get the final image that you produce with Curvemeister.

As Greg suggests, you can use Curvemeister's copy icon to copy the mask, click cancel to go back to Photoshop, and then paste the mask into your image.
