I'm interested in your experiences with installing Curvemeister on Photoshop Creative Cloud - Adobe's new subscription based version of Photoshop.

Hi Mike,

I've recently downloaded Photoshop CC and I've installed CM 3.8.1 (64). Installation was problem free (although it's having difficulty accepting Adobe's new business model -- recognizes CC as CS7 -- if only!).

No problems encountered to date with CM in CC.  So far, so good.

LOL...

Well the installer is not equipped to handle bad business decisions by mega corporations.

I just installed PsCC trial. How do I get it to run Curvemeister 3.8.1 I have installed and running with PsCS6...to run same way in PsCC?

I'm guessing I don't need to re-install CM using .exe.  I remembered reading when I installed for CS6 a way to "add" to CS5 etc. but don't remember where to look?
And will CM run with PsCC in trial mode?

It should run just fine....That being said you need to copy the Curvemeister.8BF file into the correct folder under CC in order to see the filter ont he menu.

For PSCS6 the folder path was C:Program FilesAdobePhotoshop CS6RequiredPlug-InsFilters
It may be something matching or similar for PSCC.

Thanks, all running OK in trial CC

I copied the x32 and x64 CMxxx.8bf to the x32 and x64 CC folders; where there was none, I made a "filters" folder.  x32 and x64 Ps CC run CM 3.8.1 just fine.

And because I had Ps copy the workspaces on CC install (from CS6), the keyboard shortcut via action folder/list also runs OK too.

So I'm in CM business in CC now.

Does the installer complete or do you get an error message?
You might need to move the files as described above if the installer completes the .8BF files are present on your PC just not in the right folder.

Let us know if you had an error?
