Found a useful program you'd like to share with others? Commercial announcements are fine, but please keep it brief.

Greg,

I have seen you film on the Adobe site :
http://www.adobe.com/products/psprelements/quote3.html

can you tell me what are the advantage of the new versions PS 5.0 and PSe 3.0 ?
always upgrading and upgrading and upgrading and paying and paying!!!
when does this stops?
So there must be very good reason to  upgrade.

The biggest reasons to go to PSE 5.0 from my standpoint are...

Better DB support for the Organizer in the background.
Flash galleries from the organizer.
Improvements to the Creations area.
Better support for RAW
Improvements to the selection tools
General bug fixes and updates.

For PRE 3.  They fixed some vexing issues with large file support for JPEG imports.  The 2.0 version slowed way down on conversion and render of slide shows if the image is bigger than 800X640. They also added support for smaller file exports .  Better playback and editing tools.  They handle the audio editing better.  Effects and transitions are also a bit easier to use.

Just my impressions...

Greg,

looks very good!
Indeed I annoy me any time on the Organizer.  I could never do it good.
So I hope , it is now easy to handle.
On PE I did always reduce the importing jpg files.  The end result is always 720 x 576.
So I make them 768 x 576 in DVD mode.
But when I may believe you the problems are over ?

you must know, I am 28 years of upgrading and upgrading!
So, there must come a end on that.
I say never never. but I  think I do'nt buy Vista.
I must nearly start again. The most prgr will not work or nearly.
So XP-home with the lots of update works good.
So why should I buy Vista.?
In the same way I think about PSE 5.0 and PE 3.0

But I will gave the last two a chance , I think!

First there where Photoshop 6-7- et etc.
Then Adobe make it naked, like ADAM.
Then they put a small thing of the old Photoshop 7 in it and sell it as PSE 1.0
Now we are with version 5.0
When we are 10 years later, you have nearly the same photoshop.
But, you have payed twice or more the orginal photoshop 7.0 price.

In the footage from Adobe...Yes, they were a forced Tulip bowl from Holland.  They came in a clear vase and were just bulbs in water...They lasted for a solid 2 weeks...Very lovely.

I visited the tulip growers when I was in Holland.
I have always loved the colors and variety that are in the tulips.  The formal gardens near lise I think.. were incredible...it was called the kokenhoff I believe...last time I tried the name on someone they said I called it the "dead house"....so I try not to exercize any dutch language skills that I really have never had.

The day with Adobe was interesting..they came to my house and turned it into a video studio..put gels on the lights and re-arranged the furnature...Kind of like I do to people when I do informal family portraits...It was odd to have to say the same thing about 10 times because they wanted the dialog to be just so...

I have to say that the project to recover the family images is still ongoing and I use the tools every day...It seems like a never ending process...

As for upgrades the main reason I stay up to date is because of the testing...you should try to get on with them...I will submit your name if you like.I'll ask you more about this when they ask for referrals...I spend 2-6 hours a week in the testing.  It is really open ended they give you things to go try out and, you report back the bugs you find and how you caused them.  They really do take suggestions to heart during the process...Many things I have asked for are now a standard part of the PSE and PRE programs.

I have also learned a ton about the programs and how they work together.

I saw on TV last week, there where Narcissus in New york on a time there are not in holland.
This was once a gift of a Dutch flower businessman. It has something to do with  9/11.

Yuu speak of "de KEUKENHOF", Yeh that's only for tourists.
the prgr BABYLON 6 can speak so you can try it.

Short....

It costs me to much time. There are more things to do!

lol...

nope...I do use the products all the time...

I'm not afraid to recommend them because I usually end up teaching people about them, and it's easier if I know the programs.

Greg,
that is right.
But, could the devolpers not first listen to the users before they make a upgrade.?
I prelude you , that about over 10 years, you have version 10 or more.
And it is also, do you really use al the stuff inside it!

so, I think,  I buy the newer versions. OR shall I wait to the next ugrade.?
you has suggested something in that direction.
