Well...
What a wonderfully subjective image.
I will attach my curves files for you to load...

Load the LAB first then apply and load the CMYK.
There is so much more to be gained here Julie.

What I'm wondering is: what were the colours like originally?? Julie's original looks colder...

Only Julie can tell us that.

That subjectivity is what allows so much creative freedom for the results. This was my suggestion to her not a definitive result. I took my intents and my imagination and brought them into the frame. If julie likes them she can incorporate them if not I spurred her imagination a bit...I hope.

I am trying to remember. It was definitely not as colourful as Greg's version but....
It was taken at sunset in the 'blue hour' but was definitely not as blue as my version. I dont really get why people are so obsessed about this look. I am not really a fan.
There was pink in the clouds but no yellow. And the light was softer in reality.
So I decided to go a slightly less saturated version but still very much informed by Greg's version. I like the drama.
I find landscape challenging. This view was amazing. The matterhorn was so big and so dramatic and just so 'there'. That is really hard to capture. It almost feels to me like I needed to significantly add drama to the image to try to capture what I felt while looking at this in reality. For discussion at the next skype perhaps?
