I love the bushveld and its beautiful trees Both were taken with an "old" Canon 30D All the images are HDR, 3 images -2, 0 +2

I love the bushveld and its trees too! :D You live in such a beautiful place, and you always manage to capture it very sensitively where it might, through someone else's lens, be 'cheesy'. Maybe, as Julie says, it's the light...?

ps I used to have a Canon D30 also. It had a very distinct character.

Some of the light in these shots feels artificial. Martin, did you 'create' the light, or was it what the camera saw? If the former, I'd be interested in how you did it.

The first ones are HDR images and Ive played around with it through masking

You have an amazingly light touch with HDR. It just looks very clear.
