HDR of Southern Drakensberg at sunrise. As Tim Salmon said "If you snooze you loose" Why are images better when you suffer from cold, early out of a warm bed etc?

I am a snoozer unfortunately. I think about getting out early but never do it.
Beautiful light.

Another of your transcendently beautiful landscape images, Martin -- but I'm not sure about the white frame. For me, it's pretty distracting to the eye because it's a solid, very bright colour. I never think about 'where my eye goes' in a photo, but here my eye keeps being caught by the whiteness of the frame, to the point where I have to fight it to look at the photo.

Images are definitely better when you get up early and get outside. Where I used to live there was beautiful fog in the morning, but in 8 years of living there I only got up to photograph it twice :D

The frame could be thinner. When you use a digital projector on a screen, difficult to see where the image stop (outline of the image) because the background of the screen is very dark, almost black

Here's an image of the "Blood moon" taken 15 minutes ago. Lots of noise, but I sort of like it :)
The other one is just out of camera, no editing except smaller and jpeg
