Hi
Is the next date set?
I have come home with a couple of thousand images. I bracketed many of them as it was often in very harsh sun. I am hoping that will save some images. I learnt again that for me seeing takes time.
I have often wondered why most of my best images are taken locally. I think it’s because I know my subject and can therefore ‘see it’.
My challenge now is to focus on the good images and let the dross go. I am not always good at this. I tend to want to save images.

What program do you use for your HDR? I often feel that lightroom and photoshop are a bit heavy handed and would like to try something else. Does affinity do a good job?
Looking forward to talking photography again with you all.

Next date is 28July
For HDR, mostly in Lightroom, but also in Affinity Photo and Photomatix Pro. In the past, I mostly did a combination of Photomatix and CS6 through layers. Nice thing about Lightroom, it gives a .dng (RAW) file, huge in size and dynamic range, but contains a lot of data and one can edit it almost like a normal image. I'm only early days in Affinity, but yes, it works quite well.
