The canyon one is amazing. The triptych really enhances the landscape, making it look much more vast -- which is odd because I think you've zoomed in a bit??

With the train one, which I like a lot, I found I could see it much better once I started looking at the white frame as the foreground. I'm not sure that makes any sense, but try it and maybe you'll see what I mean Looking at it that way really enhances the sense of movement.

Agree that the train triptych is a great image.
But I must confess that the palm tree is a winner for me
