One vote: I tried making his (I think it's a him) head darker and, to me, it looks less interesting that way.

This image began life as sepia and I can't be sure how much of the colour I've removed, as I'm currently looking at it on a laptop screen which I know has a strong blue cast. So, if anyone was going to point out that it isn't technically b/w, my apologies -- I meant it to be (although I think it may work better in sepia)

I tried a myriad of ways to make tims head darker but in the end i came to the same conclusion. The image was more interesting with his head in the sun. I am not sure why but it works for me.

I am away from home tonight so no images. There will be two tomorrow
