There will be a conference call on Friday 10-21-2011 at 11:00AM CDT USA

This weeks call will be hosted by Mike Russell. 

This is a wonderful opportunity to chat with Mike and bring some of your questions directly to him.
In order to be a part of the conference you will need to send Mike your Skype name before Friday at 10:30 am CDT USA and accept his contact request in Skype. 

Send Skype contact requests from within Skype directly to Mike at the Skype name "curvemeister" or via e-mail at Mike@curvemeister.com. 
You will also need to use mikogo.com for the screen share portion of the call.  Your Skype video is not needed.

We'll be looking for a few images for Mike to work on please post them to this thread by 8PM CDT USA on Thursday 10-20-2011 if you want your image considered.

Greg,  I have been thinking...  I like promoting CM.

Take an image.  Fix it, show the steps, a few screenshots with the control points.  And post the image and acv files.  I think ACV files can be used by photoshop without CM.  (or microsoft)

I think you can walk someone through a CM enhancement without CM.  It is obviously more difficult without CM.

I am probably a little incoherent.

My suggestion (only a suggestion) is to do this more as a "Recipe" than a full tutorial.  You can let the video be the tutorial.

Such as,  Open landscpape1.jpg.  Dup layer (control J), open curve dialog.  Load landscape1a.acv  save ...  later convert to lab, flatten. etc. 

After a while, you can do recipes for flat landscape, portraits, dull sky, dull foliage, etc etc.

I will try to be there tomorrow.

Just a quick note re tomorrow's session.  It is necessary to have exchanged skype id's with you in order to include you in tomorrow's skype call.  To do this, start up Skype, and respond to the request from Curvemeister that should show up there.

If you do not get a notification from Skype, please let me know and I'll send another one.

Some of you have not responded, and I'm concerned that you will miss the session.
