I have been using CM for many years. I rebuilt my computer and trying to load CM3-3.3.5 into PSE 6. This is the same setup I have been using for many years. I had it loaded it last week in the new computer but had to remove PSE 6 and reload it.

1. My first attempt was to let it load into a Program File (x86). It loaded it there but does not show up when I load a image in PSE 6 and try to find CM.
2. My next attempt was to load it into AdobePhotoshop 6Plug Ins filters. It shows up within the Filter folder but does not in PSE 6 drop down filters menu.

I don't know what else to try. If anyone has suggestions please advise.

Elements 6?

Is this a Win7 -64 PC?  your directory listing seems to indicate it is.
Are you loading the latest version?
Your CM license is good for all versions of 3.X CM.  Try the 3.8.X version for Elements.

Mike has removed the .OCX files from the install so the older versions of CM might give you trouble in Win 7.

greg, last week I down loaded a 32 bit version and it worked. However I did something stupid and lost all my data so I'm starting over again. I have PSE 6 so even though I have w7 64 it worked fine for years.

Are you suggesting I try the latest full version 3.6 64 bit? when I tried that last time in one of the pages it tells you what Photoshop pgms it will work with. PSE 6 is not one of them. Where if I choose the 32 bit it auto picks up to PSE 6.

Do I load CM into plug ins or filters?

Greg, after A few tries success. I loaded the 32 bit version into PSE 6 in my W7 64 bit computer.

Joe the 64 bit version is only for Photoshop 64 bit...Elements will not be 64 bit on your PC.
Glad it's working...
