OK, I'm digital all the way at this point, but here is a respectful nod in the direction of the most complex film process ever to attain wide use. Talking with Ctein (I know, thunk LOL) a couple of days ago, Kodachrome requires two on site Master's degree Chemists to keep the process going, yet it survived economically for well over a generation.
