Greetings Forum,

I am a photographer; I make a living and pay my bills using cameras and selling prints. In the venue I am testing Curvemeister on, I color correct and print over 150 individual and unique images a week, every week all year long and have done so for over 100,000 printed and corrected images over the past years. I am not new to color correction and printing.

Over the past 3 weeks I have used the knowledge gained in the Curvemeister class along with the Curvemeister plug-in as a quality test against my past 7 years of repeat client orders in the test venue.

I have had more positive unsolicited praise for the qualtiy and clarity of my output prints in the past three weeks than I have had over the past two years combined.

Curvemeister has almost doubled my time per image correction to print but I am sure I will beat that time down with practice on the software. I plan on using and developing my work flow around Curvemeister from now on.

Nothing beats satisfied customers. The Curvemeister plugin simply works.

Rick,

If you need anything to help you speed up the workflow let us know...
we may or may not be able to help but we can sure try.

Did you know that using CM from the filter menu in PS or by using Ctrl-F in PS applies the previous correction to the current image?  For my work flow I use this to correct 1 image in a studio set and then apply the changes to all of the images with the same exposure.  Sometimes I have to re-do the filter but many times the lighting and exposure are the same so the correction gets me close very fast.

You can also save the curve and apply it to another image using the save and load buttons.....

Just trying to help...

I'm sure Mike is blushing...But I know he deserves much more praise...

Greg,

Thanks for the tips like this!  I am also looking for ways to use CM more efficiently.  I have been doing the selection of shots and some initial simple corrections in Lightroom 2 and then saving all the files as PSD.  Then I do the final corrections corrections in CM.  I have been looking for ways to speed up what I do in CM.  Appreciate any other hints on how to speed things up.

Thx

Gus

That is very generous of you Greg. I may just take you up on your offer once I establish some solid questions.

Thank you,

Rick
