You are correct that sluggishness is an ongoing problem that we are trying to address. Why are new things always slower than the old ones?
I am in the process of adding a spell-checker to the site, however I am having problems activating it for forum posts. I'll keep you all posted here.

We are very close to supporting this. If you can keep the color checker or other target in the same position, Curvemeister allows you to save a set of pins to fixed locations, load them onto a new image, and display deltaE values for each pin. If necessary, you can drag the pins around manually. Mike
