First try -- 95% Curvemeister, 5% small adjustments in PS, crop to make it more abstract:

I'm not sure if this would improve it, but it sort of bugs me that it's not straight

I'm ashamed to say that I lived in San Diego for many years and only went to the MOPA once. It is indeed a great little place.

Interesting - the HDR seems to do different things depending on how light/dark the image is...?

Maybe it's just because I'm used to seeing so much colour from you, Greg, but I want to see the colour versions of these!
