I first set a highlight and shadow and neutral on the tiger. I applied it and in a second run in Lab I used the contrast pin to pop the colours on the tiger. I ignored the foreground and background totally except for the use of the stones for neutral.

This is my RGB version and althoug I placed a highlight in the same position as in Lab, the newspaper does not show as clean white as Lab.

I used the Light channel of Lab and also placed a Highlight to get the paper white and contrasty.

Sorry about posting my work so late. We had such a busy time preparing for Easter. But now I have more time.

My Corrections. I don't seem to get the hue clock pointers shorter.

I first set a shadow, then used RGB to remove the colour cast and finally used Lab to make the colours look more vivid.

I found this to be a tough one. I'm needing to work on it some more. My Hue clocks for the faces only go as far as 10 minutes past twelve and not 12:30 or 35.

I'll work on the skin tone project some more. I quite enjoy the challenge and will get better at it. It is just minute movement that can make such a difference.
