I have the new build and Curvemeister runs just fine.
You will need to move the .8bf file from the old folder to the new one.

The issue you are relating to is a very old version of the software. While the user ID issue is still present we support the resolution by sending out the user ID when requested. If you are having a problem we are more than willing to help.
