I have already "recovered" three images. I liked them, but could not figure how to do them so they sat with 3 stars. I will be posting along with my prior failures.

I have been going through old images. They are all on LR as a catalog. I can filter by date and stars. So a brilliant idea, go back 10 years. So that is my project. I split the selections photos (max 10 a year) with little or no family. Family photos- significant or pretty. My family is protec...

The new panel has a exclude blues. Perhaps that does not go far enough. Skies of any color do not need sharpening (perhaps an overstatement). Sharpen and back off or mask or do over.

Some gurus say do not do capture sharpen. One of our CM persons uses FocusMagic at 1 pixel. The sam...

Profiling paper. There are canned profiles. I often buy Red River paper with its profiles. Preferred would be to do your own. But the print profile hardware is a little expensive for a hobbiest. Glossy or luster papers do okay with canned profiles. "fine art" papers much less so. I assume and...

I have another more recent anomaly from CC 2014, not CM this time. I get a column or two or three of transparent pixels running vertically down the image imported from ACR. I tried the same images in CS6, no problem. I am installing a new video driver to see if that helps. Th streaks are only vi...

In the adobe CC 2014 folder, I pasted int the filter folder and the curvemeister3.8bf. Adobe has two sets of folders for CC and cc 2014.

I too have had no problem with Adobe cc and installing CM. I will try later today doing the auto install.

Dan M's action compared to standard seem magic. He pushes his speed and the actions are "one-click". CM methods are not terribly time consuming, and do a better job. With practice, CM can be fast. (unfortunately my day job takes over for long periods). I rarely tackle 100 images, so time i...

I do not fix white balance when shooting RAW, but it might a minor (?) mistake. It affects the histogram and the image on you LCD screen. The RAW file has a jpeg imbedded, and that is wrong.
