Yes, I see way too many awful photos posted, not only on social networks but also in stock agencies like Alamy, which does not edit for content.  The worst I've seen lately are Martha Stewart's photos of food:  http://jezebel.com/martha-stewart-cant-stop-tweeting-really-gross-picture-14667...

I agree with most of what he says about the graying of the photography market; however, not all of the old dinosaurs used huge Nikons and Canons.  Size and weight were always important to those of us who did editorial work and carried our cameras with us to remote places.  He says:<br /><br />"In th...

Thanks, Greg!  I appreciate your taking the time to work on these.  They certainly look 100% better!  I hope your wife is doing OK!  That is one of my nightmares of travel.  We are on a farm in Italy right now, very farm from any medical help.  Both of us have had our appendixes removed so that won&...

Thanks, Julie! I will be staying in an agritourismo farm near Lucca. We were there for a week in September last year for the wine harvest. I can't wait to go back for the olives. I'm sure I'll have lots of photos for Curvemeister!<br /><br />Until then,<br /><br />Thanks!<br /><br />T...

I had totally forgotten!  This will give me a much-needed chance to redo Week 6; however, I will be leaving for Italy on November 3rd to photograph the olive harvest.  I'll return on November 21st. The farm where I'm staying does have a very tenuous wi-fi connection but it is in the main f...

Oops.  That last one looks much more saturated as posted than it does in my files.  I'll try desaturating that one.  Here are the last two.  The selection one seemed to work pretty well.  I thought the Temple Figures looked pretty good in the before photo but I did try to lighten those while da...

I've done the first three examples from the "Man From Mars" lesson.  The first two are over the top, but looking at the examples in the sample video, I assume they are supposed to be. The third one pushes the saturation almost over the top but still looks good to me.
