Help! I can't get CM installed on my new machine w CS5 64. I get a beta expiration notice. Also it can't find the plug-ins folder, which I manually pointed it too. I tried using the Photoshop internal update for the plugins, but that didn't work. At the end I had no CM at all!<br /><b...

Any plans to update CM3 to operate as an external app in Lightroom 2.0?

If so, any idea when a beta might be available?

I was working on an image tonight where the Hue mask was almost perfect for what I needed. But I couldn't figure out how to exit CM with the mask showing up as a mask in the PS layer to do the extra work on it (mostly making sure the B/W conversion was correct all over). That mask, after the cl...

If there are 4 things that seem to go hand in hand in advanced color correction it's Curves, Masks, Mask Cartes, and Apply Image. It sure would be nice if I could execute Apply Image from within CM...

As you know, there are a number of moves Dan Margulis and others do that make heavy use of masks in their moves. With all this new masking capability it sure would be nice to have some examples of using CM to accomplish the moves - focused more on showing the mechanics of using the specialized masks...

Thanks for the latest beta. Unfortunately, it didn't fix anything (and I lost the nature and people pins?). Attached is a screen snap annotated using powerpoint. I've tried changing the name of the duplicated layer and that didn't help.

Yikes! It's back. Now I think maybe it has to do with duplication of the background image. I'll send you the file I'm work with. It should work fine as is. Duplicate the background layer and then try CM.

I have no clue what's going on! Everything, except the CMYK thresholding, is working fine now!!???

I suspect my earlier analysis is wrong. Not sure what fixed this.

Seems to be something with the Adobe RGB profile. If I open an existing Adobe RGB image psd (that I'm almost positive) created with ACR and simply convert it to Adobe RGB, it works. If I open an Adobe RGB jpg file (which started life as a NEF, then psd thru ACR and then jpg), it works fine. Loo...
