Week 2, Example 3: Pumpkins

After adjusting - keep this simple trick in mind when you need to bring out the shape of a surface.


The original image: flat pumpkins.

I pretty much gave away the store in the hint for this example. Be careful that you don't blow out the highlights on the pumpkins, and you're golden. One time-saver that is shown here: you can rotate both ends of the curve at the same time by clicking in the margin of the curve, holding the mouse button down, and dragging.
